Polar Roll

Taking place in the Upper Peninsula, the Polar Roll is Michigan’s largest fat-bike race. For those participating, racers experience some of the U.P.’s chilliest and unpredictable precipitation and ground conditions. Leaning heavily on seasonal conditions, outdoor brands, mountain bike culture, and the established branding elements for inspiration, I created the 2016 Polar Roll brand deliverables to include illustrative and textural elements.
